I think by definition of what a period is you can’t get pregnant on your period. What can happen is you have unprotected sex on your period and the semen can hang around for a few days. You ovulate early and then conceive. I don’t think you can ovulate on your period. Someone correct me if I’m wrong

Unlikely, but yes. It is possible for your body to ovulate at any time. So if you have sex on your period, the sperm can stay alive in your body for a few days. And if you randomly ovulate, then sperm can meet egg.
