Situationship

So ive been seeing this guy for nearly 4 months now, we’ve met each other’s parents and things are going good but he’s told me he doesn’t want a relationship, he’s said it’s not just with me it’s with anyone so I’ve stayed because I’d rather things not be official than lose him

We don’t go on dates with anyone else or sleep with anyone else and things would definitely end if either of us did

Im just trying to understand what’s going on, any help is appreciated
