Breastfed baby poop stinks?

All of a sudden over the last couple of days his poop smells... like regular poop. It never smelled before, just like a buttery smell. 
He’s 3.5 months. Should I be concerned?

My son had the same thing! Around 4 months or just before his poop started smelling atrocious. It used to be so mild! Nothing about his diet has changed (EBF then and now) so Ive been wondering why!

My son is 3.5 months (4 weeks adjusted) his poop has always smelt bad even in the NICU lol! Totally normal every breastfed baby poop smells different and will change as the digestive track starts preparing to start solids

Same thing happened to us around the same time too! I'd imagine it's normal.

My son had the same thing. As soon as he started pooping less frequently at around 7 weeks old (he went from 9 poops a day down to 3 or 4), his poop started to smell awful even though he is breastfed. Hes 11.5 weeks old now, poops every 2 to 3 days, and still has the worst smelling poop. His gas smells awful too. He can clear a room. I think it's just something that is a new normal for him now. At least we now have a way to get rid of people we dont like hahaha 😂 jk
