At what age do they replace their own pacifier?

I don’t know how much longer I can go waking up every hour to replace my baby’s pacifier lol. When did your baby start replacing their own? She tries to grab it and can bring it up to her mouth but she’s only 3 months so it’s not exactly going to happen right now 🤦🏻‍♀️

When it was like that, we just ditched the paci. It’s not worth getting up every hour. This mama had to work! No luxury of staying awake all night playing the paci game.

My son is 4 1/2 months and has just started finding and putting his paci back in.  I usually leave 3-5 of them in the crib so he can find one easily.

My son is 7 months and has stared looking for his pacifier when he loses it and if he finds it he’ll put it in, but lots of times he rolls onto it so it’s under him and I have to get it.

I think 6 months but man was it rough until then! If I could go back, I would probably ditch them because my daughter is 17 months now and is obsessed. Not even just one in her mouth but she likes to hold it when sleeping like a comfort blanket

My little girl started rejecting the pacifier at 3 months. If we try to put one in her mouth she spits it back out us every single time.
