Long post- please don’t judge
So I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and I need some advice on how to get her off the sippy cup at night. When she was a baby she would never take a paci and always used the bottle to fall asleep and for her comfort. Well unfortunately that stuck I always had to keep extra bottles ready because in the middle of the night she would reach around to find her bottle her eyes would always stayed close stick it in her mouth drink a little then go right back to sleep she never actually wakes up but she does that all night long and always have ever since she was a baby. Well now she’s obviously on a sippy cup she loves milk she won’t go to sleep without her cup and she does the same thing I have to put a cooler beside my bed stocked with 3 sippy cups like I said she never wakes up she grabs it in the middle of night drinks a little and goes right back to sleep. I’ve tried doing water she will wake up and throw it at me. She sleeps with me and my husband. My husband said it’s easy just don’t give it to her it’s a lot easier said than done. She will freak out if she don’t have it and won’t stop crying and asking for it until I give her it and I’m always so exhausted I give in and now I have a 7 month old son and he sleeps in a bassinet beside the bed and when she wakes up crying that also wakes him up and not only am I dealing with her I’m dealing with him I get up at 6 In the mornings to get ready for work. She already has two cavity’s on her back teeth I’m taking her to get capped. Let me make sure to say I’m a damn good mom I always have my kids with me they have everything they want and more. My daughter is beautiful and the last thing I want is for her teeth to be messed up because of me it’s my responsibility. I’m struggling on what to do someone please send me in the right direction on what to do 😫
