Do they test for herpes in pregnancy?

Yeah they do! They don’t explicitly tell you they are though it’s just apart of the first trimester blood screening. They test for everything that could affect baby.

I know they test for STIs, I would assume herpes would be one that they test for.

They’ve never actually told me that they test for that with blood work, but we now have online access to our records and I have what looks like a full STD panel from blood work with my last pregnancy.  I’m pretty sure they test for it.
