Mixing formula?

If it ok to mix regular infant formula and gentle ease if it’s the same brand?

I was told to slowly transition from one formula to another by mixing a little bit of the new one with the old one, and slowly increasing the new one, but that didn’t work with my daughter. Some formulas have different ingredients that don’t cooperate together. She would projectile it and it upset her stomach so I switched cold turkey. That was much better. I wouldn’t mix formula.

I did this with my son with gerber sooth (which constipated him but kept him from being gassy) and enfamil regular which kept things moving without causing diarrhea. It was trial and error for us, but in the end we found this worked. The pediatrician gave me some dirty looks when I told her this, but ultimately said it was fine if baby was tolerating it well. He’s 21 months now and healthy as a horse.

No. You can make the baby sick and they can reject the milk. Are you trying to switch over to gentle ease????
