Feeding problems
For the past 2 months my baby has been pretty much eating one ounce every hour... including during the night. The doctor she saw in October and November said there wasn't anything I could do. She went back for her four month checkup and saw a different doctor who said to not give her a drop for three hours then present a four ounce bottle to her since that's the most she's ever eaten at one time and that I can start solids. I have not had any luck. She's been eating some solid foods but only drinking one ounce every three to four hours. I feel this process is starving my baby but then she's only eating one ounce. Her naps are only 15 to 45 minutes long and the longest she slept at night is two hours. The last doctor said I was chronically fatigued and need sleep but its just me watching her. I'm at my wits end and jealous of hearing of babies this age waking up maybe once through the night. I have the energizer baby!
He also said to put her in her crib and if she cries for two hours then let her. I can't be doing my own thing knowing my child is upstairs crying her lungs out.
