What can I do to make s/o feel better

So I out of the blue got these beautiful text today. He doesn't like showing his feelings he always tries to stay so strong but he gave finally I love him so much

s/o is a boiler maker he works in 40 degree heat today isn't so hot but it is still hot in the hot enough he wakes up at 5.00am everyday he works till 5.00pm he hated work lately he got his bonus he felt shit like his work wasn't appreciated his boss even made a remark to someone "well if they aren't happy with it they can leave." He has been there 7.5 long years he thought it was 9 and was going to just do his 10 years and leave we live in a town it's not easy for males to find work.

I feel terrible for him he hasnt been to well lately and has been dealing with alot.

My question is can I have some ideas on how to make him feel better I want to go get him flowers and cook dinner for him but it's nothing out of the ordinary I always cook for him I know he would prefer to stay in also thankyou so much ladies ❤️
