Honestly neither unless you plan to dress your LO up everyday. I have SOOOO many clothes that went to waste because honestly I just kept her in footed pajamas while we were at home on maternity leave during the day and swaddled her at night. So I recommend buying those!

Dont buy alot of any size. They grow like weeds. If you get hand me downs from someone just use that. If you buy new I'd be conservative. We have tons of clothes that never got worn.

Hard to say. I would only buy a few newborn for now because some babies just don’t fit in them. Others fit into them for a good amount of time so it’s kind of difficult haha.

Both. My babies are always small it seems. First son was 6lbs 11oz and he wore newborn for about 5 weeks. 0-3 months and the clothes could’ve just about slipped right off, same with my little 1 week old now. He was 6lbs 14oz and lost 5% of his weight and 0-3 months were huge on him. I have a bunch of newborn footie pajamas and day outfits. I just don’t like having to wash clothes multiple times a day so I like having multiple outfits instead. Maybe it’s a waste of money to have bought so many since he will grow out of them in a few weeks, but I’m saving money on water so yeah, lmao.

I always suggest both. Everyone told me not to get NB and the 0-3 he ended up swimming in. He wasn’t in 0-3 until he was about 6 weeks old. I hadn’t bought many NB so when we got home we had like 5 onesies and a pair of pants with maybe 4 sleepers. Thank God for Amazon prime but I’m definitely glad I’ll have them for next time.

I had 7 new born sleepers and 7-10 new born outfits but I am the sort of person that only put sleepers on for overnight and would dress.my lg up for the day time (comfy clothes like vest and leggings) as I found it helped me and my lg with establishing routine. She wore new born for around 2 weeks wore everything she then was in 0-1 for around 2-3 weeks was in 0-3 til around 2.5 months 3-6 til around 4 months then was always a size ahead of her age shes now 20 months and has been in 2-3year since around 16 months old.

Have a few newborn clothes in hand, but do many more 0-3. 
Don’t waste you’re money on too many cute onesies. Our totally live in jammies. The inverted zipper jammies at target are the bomb!

0-3 months lasted me a good few months. Probably up to 4 months from birth! little loose for a newborn but unless I was going to a special occasion I was happy with 000. :)
