Having a boy after having a girl? What’s it like?

I have a daughter that will be almost exactly 2 years older than my son who will be born soon.  I originally wanted this second baby to be another girl so that the two girls could be close in age and share clothes and just be close sisters :)
Turned out to be a boy, and that’s totally okay.  Slight gender disappointment but not much.  He’s healthy and I’m happy.  I’m just curious what life will be like.  I can’t imagine having a boy!  I’m so used to pink and girly things with my first.
What’s it like having a boy vs having a girl?  Might sound like a goofy question, but I can’t even picture it !

I helped raise my baby sisters when I was a teen, my mom had 5 girls, so I felt like I barely knew what a boy was lol. My firstborn was a boy and I was nervous about not ever taking care of a boy before, but really there’s pretty much no difference (yet, he’s 3, I imagine the teen years is when I’ll see differences). Put the penis down in the diaper and you’re good.

My kids 1st girl than 2 boys have the same age difference as me and my sister. And they are much closer than me and my sister ever were. Gender doesn't matter how they grow up together matters as long as you support and nurture their relationships they will be close.

Boys are definitely a lot of fun! I have 3! They definitely keep me on my toes, but all 3 are so different. As they get older is when it's more trying lol. You have to start worrying about the girlfriends etc. They always tell me, well at least you don't have to worry about someone messing with you, you have us plus your bonus son's, it's true lol. All their friends have become like family.

I can’t say much yet but our daughter and 5week old son are almost exactly three years apart and she already loves him to pieces. 
My husband was the younger brother but his sister was also a borderline special needs (they never had her tested, but she was in the special needs classes in school) kid so his mom tended to her a lot more than she did him.

My daughter was two when my son was born, and can I just say that my boy loves his sister more than anyone else in the world. They play great together, with all kinds of toys, neither of them play with just “boy” toys or just “girl” toys. Sister loves to teach him new things, and I don’t think my daughter feels any want for a sister.

As a girl who got a little brother when I desperately wanted a sister (lol) I’m really grateful to have grown up with a brother! I was super into girly stuff when I was younger but he really broadened my interests and made me a more well-rounded person. I also was like beyond shy and kind of afraid of boys as a toddler, but having my brother changed that.
