Blood in poop or am I over analyzing?

Also, is this normal poop for exclusively breastfed baby?

I don’t really see blood but there’s definitely mucus. Does your baby show any symptoms of a dairy allergy? Might be worth bringing to your pedi to test! Dairy is a very common allergy for little ones!

Hmm, it really doesn’t look like blood to me. My baby is 5 months & EBF and sometimes her poops look like this

Looks normal to me, my baby is also exclusively breastfeeding and it gets slimy like that when shes teething.

My LO definitely had blood in his poop.. he actually had 3 diapers of poop.. the first being the worst then they got less. I would see what the next couple diapers look like. 
It doesn’t hurt to have them test it if you’re concerned. 
His only happened that one day and hasn’t happened again. I did have the doctor check his poop on a different appt and there was no blood! I’ve heard it can be hard to notice sometimes.

Are your babies poos always like tie with shinny mucus. Both my kids have had this since birth they both have CMPI (cows milk protein intolerance) and my son now 5 1/2 months does not tolerate soy either as it’s quite a similar protein. Mucus generally means that something is not being tolerated in bubs gut. 
Speak of your doctor about it, try excluding all dairy productsfrom your diet if breastfeeding (or ask for a dairy free formula if feeding that way) and see if things improve. Can take up to 6-8 weeks to clear yours and bubs system. Keep a food diary and see if you get this type of nappy output with any other foods. Good luck

I don’t think it’s blood. My sons pediatrician said blood is either bright bright red (this would usually be if they were constipated or something and had a tear but not always) or black/dark brown and look similar to coffee grounds. It does look mucousy though. Has baby been drooling a lot or have a cold? Both of those can cause their poop to look kind of mucousy. If neither of those things are happening then I’d show the pictures to the pediatrician. Mucousy poop can also be a sign of dairy allergy but I would think you would have seen it happen before now.

That bottom picture looks like it could be tinted, and my baby almost always has some seedyness to his poop. I'd just keep an eye on it right now.
