Could I be pregnant/should I test

Hi Glow ladies. I’m Ella and I’m 17 my bf and I have been sexually active for 8.5 months I’m currently on the pill. Earlier during this cycle (22-13 days ago) I had the flu and was the sickest Iv ever been with my fever going up to 106.7 degrees Fahrenheit. I was also throwing up also (a probably threw up my pills) after I got over the flu 2 weeks ago I did have sex quite a few times. And didn’t even think twice about me being sick/ throwing up. Anyways my period is currently 2 days late and it’s never been late before (usually it comes 1-3 days before glow expects it to) so ofc I looked it up on google and found that having the flu can cause you to have a late or missed period. I have no other symptoms (tender breast etc) but wanted to see if anyone knew anything more about how the glue effects the menstrual cycle and when I should test.

Update: I took a test last night and this morning both came out negative, I’m currently 5 days late
