So, my fiance and I are 2,000 miles apart. I live in Utah and he lives in North Carolina. I've known him since I was 12 (I'm now 18), but we didn't start dating until 5 months ago. It's been really hard not seeing him. He was supposed to come this weekend--we already booked his flight, rental car, and the hotel suite, as my lame ass Mormon parents won't let him stay with us, even though he would stay here all the time when we weren't dating. But anyways, he just called and told me he's not going to be able to make it, because the professor over his culinary program asked him to manage the mostly student-run restaurant this weekend while his wife is having her baby. I know that this is a HUGE opportunity for him, but a major part of me wishes that he said no, that he is spending the weekend with me, in Utah, on vacation. I haven't seen him since early December, and I really needed this trip, because I want to tell him we're pregnant in person. I don't know if I can wait until March to tell him. Please help.
