Does anyone else feel like a crappy homemaker?
I am a stay at home mom with a 6 month old boy. My husband and I are both nurses, and he works at the hospital. I am planning to stay home with our baby until he starts going to school.
I am great at taking care of my baby. However, I’m not good at cooking or cleaning. While my husband is gone I do dishes and wash/fold laundry. I try to cook but I barely know how to cook anything. Plus, my baby cries if I even try to put him down for 5 minutes. I’m also a full time student and finishing my bachelors degree online.
My husband is very loving and supportive. He tells me to be easier on myself because I’m doing a great job. My goal this year is to start cooking more.
Does anyone else feel like a crappy stay at home mom? I’m good at the mom part, but not so good at keeping a perfectly organized home or cooking.
