Postpartum bleeding?

I’m 5 weeks postpartum and bleeding slowed down a couple days after having my daughter. It’s just kind of been old blood but now out of nowhere it’s bright red again and I’m slightly cramping. 
This is normal... right? I know bleeding can fluctuate after giving birth so maybe give me a peace of mind?

Normal. Although I kind of went right into my first period at 6 weeks pp with both my kids so could be that too!
