It’s out in the open now

My boyfriend and I work together. We’ve been friends for quite a long time but have blossomed into something so much more. I’ve never felt like this with any of my previous relationships. I think he may be the one🙈❤️

Because we work together and he’s in a manager/ supervisor position we were both a little worried about telling HR so we decided to try and hide it for a while. It’s very frowned upon for a supervisor to be dating an employee...obviously. We rarely see each other and we’re on opposite shifts, so it worked out pretty well. We started getting sick and tried of hiding it. Never posting pictures of us together on social media, if another co-worker asked me about him I would always be very vague and never mention his name. I wanted to show him off and tell everyone “hey! He’s mine and I’m really frigging happy!!” So we decided to finally tell HR. She wasn’t really thrilled. Although, she said because I’m in a department with my own supervisor and don’t work directly with him it’s fine, just have to be super professional when we do come in contact at work....which is almost never, so YAY!!

So, we changed our status on Facebook and threw up a picture and now everyone knows! I got a “I didn’t know you guys were dating?!” today and even a “I knew it!” Lol! I’m just very happy and feel like everything is coming together☺️ I just wanted to share with someone!!
