Do you think using hand sanitizer is a sufficent substitute for washing your hands after a bathroom trip?

This poll is just me being curious. I know hand sanitizer is for obviously sanitizing your hands, but is it sufficient to use after a bathroom break INSTEAD of washing your hands with soap & water?
I know this is quite common in hospitals or doctors offices. 
What are your thoughts?

It is proven to not be as sufficient. The reason washing your hands is so important is because it’s the actual act of friction that removes the germs.

As much as some (the smaller portions of this poll) people may think it's okay, but that's how you spread e.coli and other diseases. 
Think about this, if you went to a restaurant and found out the chef wasn't washing their hands after taking a dump and just used hand sanitizer, how would you feel about eating that meal then?
Seems like some people aren't concerned with their own germs and that's fine, but technically, according to serve safe regulations- wash hands then use hand sanitizer. That's how it goes plain and simple in order to reduce pathogens. Obviously if you don't have access to running water, that's different in that circumstance.

I work in a pre school and we have the hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the building. I usually wash my hands in the sink and then use the sanitizer once I’m out of the toilet, I always have to after opening the toilet door! Makes me wonder who has been inside and not washed their hands 🙈😂

I mean, if your hands aren't visibly soiled then hand sanitizer is usually just fine. That's what I've been taught in school/work.  🤷 I think the issue is that most people don't wash their hands the right way or use enough hand sanitizer

Hand sanitizer will do in a pinch, but hand-washing is SOO much better!
