How do I know if baby is spitting up too much?

So we are at 6 days and yesterday and  today he has started spitting up a good bit. I’m sure part of it is just because he’s getting used to the milk I’m producing, but it just seems like he spits up so much at each feeding

Really the only time it’s concerning is if baby is getting dehydrated or not gaining weight.

My baby spits up a lot. He’s 6 weeks and has a lot of wet diapers and is gaining weight. It’s only annoying because it gets his clothes wet and gets in his hair

Its only a concern if they decide dehydrated, become very sleepy/ hard to wake or stop gaining weight.  We had a reflux baby who would spew milk upwards of 40 times every 24 hrs. She still gained weight, met all her milestones, and had wet diapers so the dr wasn’t even concerned.
