Question

Trisha

I'll try to make this short:

My first pregnancy ended in a loss at 26w due to an unknown condition with a vaginal at home birth. I produced milk and had to dry up. I accidentally became pregnant shortly afterwards and gave birth to a full term baby girl via csection because she was breech. Found out I have a unicornate uterus (i also had low progesterone and had to take supplements). One affect of a unicornate uterus is spontaneous abortion. The doctors chalked up my loss to that. I was unable to breastfeed my daughter after my csection. I just never produced enough milk. I tried nursing and pumping and supplements but after a month was still getting at most 1oz of breastmilk in total from both sides in an entire day (so .5 oz from each side) so I gave up. Is it possible that should I have another child, I'd be able to breastfeed or should I assume I just no longer can and move on?

TIA!
