My almost one year old has not been the best sleeper since she was born ( some aren't, I know this) but we have been trying to get her to sleep through the night and I have tried MANY different strategies.

We are due for baby number 3 in 3 weeks or less so I am trying to get her to sleep through or learn actually to self soothe, she is just so hard headed 😁, and she shares a room with her sister and thankfully she is and always has been a heavy good sleeper since she was born.

Anyways, we let her cry or fuss it out, we watch her on the video monitor. She stands and looks at the door and waits for us to come as she is crying and fussing til she finally lays down, this can go on anywhere from 20-50 minutes at times or it can be 5-15 minutes before she gives up and lays down.

My question is has anyone dealt with similar situation and what help or didn't help and how long did it last before she got the hang of it and finally slept through the night...

I know not everyone is for cry it out and that's find but we have had success with our first under supervision.
