Weaning /stopping breastfeeding & pumping side effects ?

Anyone have any side effects from stopping breastfeeding and pumping!?

I wore a sports bra and of course nursing pads or a towel. My opinion, painful

Yes!! I started by doing every other feeding by adding formula. Also took Sudafed and used cabbage leaves if needed, but ibuprofen seemed to work. I’ve packs help too. Slowly weaned off and baby stopped wanting the breast because I wasn’t producing enough due to the Sudafed.

Been trying to do this since before Christmas and it’s been challenging because my baby won’t drink all the formula and gets fussy for a boob instead and in order to keep her happy I have to breastfeed which is making it harder. Gonna try to switch to another formula to see if that changes. I started off by taking out a breastfeeding session each time but it was harder for us because my baby was constantly feeding and now we’re mostly breastfeeding again until we find a formula she like ugh
