So I told my dad on Saturday. I had to do it on the phone, unfortunately, as our car was involved in an accident and we live in the sticks a 4h drive away...

He just kept saying he was ‘stunned’ and really didn’t say much else 🤣

I’ve just sent a nice text to check how he’s doing, and if the news has settled in yet 😂 I might have always been more of a parent to him!

And side note: I’m 34 and been with my partner for 6 years... so it’s not like I’m a teenager ‘in trouble’
