Ok so my hair is a medium brown color. I want to dye it a royal blue but I don't want it to fade into a green. Rather into lighter blue colors. Anyways I know I need to bleach my hair and use toner. But there are so many products I confused myself on what I'm supposed to do. I also am considering using Olaplex with the bleach bc I've been reading that it helps keep damage at Bay but I wasn't sure if it was worth it. (Yes ik it's for "professional use" but there's a loophole in their system). I'm confused. Am I supposed to bleach my hair with the Olaplex and then tone it? Am I supposed to use all together? Is Olaplex even worth it? I'm lost. Im not gonna go to a salon bc it's FAR MORE expensive than if I do it myself. I've bleached my hair before and have dyed it. But I would dye it red/orange so the brassy yellow was fine. I'm going for a platinum look rn. Then will dye it blue after a month or so. Roots will be black so I'm not gonna bleach those. If someone could clear up my confusion and give me advice lol that would be great thanks ❤️
