Need some advice
I just started a new job today. Well I did a week of orientation, and started on the floor today. I guess my exceptions weren’t what the job really was. They talked it up way too much in the interview and orientation. I personally don’t feel like I will like it. I have the chance to go back to my old job if need be. So being out a job won’t be an issue. But I would feel bad. (The lady training me today was confused why they had so many afternoon people hired because there are a lot.) so they wouldn’t be short handed. It’s a patient sitter at a hospital. The “sitter” part wasn’t said during interview or orientation. They call the sitters a whole different name now. I don’t know. Basically I was told you “may” get a lunch. And you gotta hope that the nurse or cna has time so you can use the bathroom. My bladder isn’t big. I go at least every two hours. I held it in today. But did go three times in 8 hours. Would I be a failure or dumb to go back to my old job? I need advice. I am lost on what to do. Sitting there for 8 hours doing absolutely nothing and not being able to use the restroom when needed isn’t something I look forward to doing.
