Still napping?

Question

How many of your almost 3 year olds are still napping? It’s been a struggle daily to get her down for naps and bedtime. Now tonight she’s been up 3 times. I’m thinking it’s time to give up naps.

Our soon to be 3 year old still naps anywhere from 1-3 hours a day. Sometimes he fights it and just lays in his bed, but he needs that rest. He’s a very go go go all the time kid so he and I both need some down time ha.

My daughter can make it through the day without a nap, but we can’t go anywhere because she’ll fall asleep and not sleep through the night lol. 
She still naps most days because that’s the schedule she’s on at daycare. And if she really can’t sleep then she just lays in her bed and watches tv for “
Quiet time “. She’s always more refreshed after and less cranky in the evening.

Yeah, we have dropped her naps maybe 2 month ago, when getting her to nap was turning into such a fight that it was just not worth it anymore. She still naps at daycare without a problem, but when at home on the weekend she just skips it...

So far I’ve been lucky, my boy naps 2 hrs a day. My second is 19 months and they take naps at the same time. I’m due with third in March and I pray it continues

We are - anywhere from 1-3 hours. Our house is a lot calmer when he’s rested. There are random  days when naps don’t happen at all though. If he doesn’t fall asleep, I’ll usually just leave him in his room for an hour and a half to rest.

My son HAS to nap everyday or he’s miserable by bedtime. We found that when we’re super active and has a fully belly, he gets the best sleep. So maybe play a lot then eat right before laying him down? He naps 1.5-2 hours minimum every day around 1pm, then going to sleep at 7-7:30pm without fighting

My daughter still naps. Though, during quarantine things were different. I had to take her for rides to make her go to sleep. She was so grumpy without a nap!

Mine does during the week. But I don’t force it on the weekends because we are busy and not always home at nap time.

My almost three year old still really needs a nap (1.5 hours is the perfect length for her) when we skip naps we really can’t do anything in the afternoon because she is exhausted and will fall asleep in the car.

My daughter dropped hers when she turned two. If she even sleeps for 15 minutes during the day she won’t fall asleep until 1.5 hours after her usual bedtime.
