Being Dominate in the bedroom?

I just got into a new relationship with this guy who I absolutely adore but after having a conversation about sex and stuff I found he’s a lot more on the sexually submissive side. I have no problem with that as I am a switch and don’t have an issue being dominate, the problem is I’ve never actually been dominate in a sexual relationship. All of my past relationships were with dominate guys so I’m used to being submissive. Also in our everyday life he comes off as a dominate looking person as he’s very tall, strong, and has a very deep voice. So I’m almost intimidated to try to be dominate to a guy with such a dominate look to him. Any advice or beginners tips?
