Requesting my own adoption records

I was adopted when I was very young by my grandfather and his wife. I was about 5 days old when they came and picked me up because my mom had left me with her boyfriend for a few days and had not returned. My adoption was done through children’s aid( I live in Ontario Canada). My dad (grandpa) was really good with keeping all records and papers so I have seen some copies like court documents about my adoption but not much else.

Recently my sister (biological) suggested I request my papers and I was wondering what they may include, I’m particularly interested in finding out more about my birth father, but I know he was not involved in the pregnancy or birth so I wonder if they would even have knowledge of who he is. My birth mom passed away in 2016 and I was there by here side, I’ve also had some contact while growing up but was never told who my birth father is. After she passed her on and off boyfriend claimed he knew the names of the guy but didn’t tell me because I was 17 at the time.
