Infant night terror!

My son is 7.5 months, he’s a very happy baby but ever since he turned 6 months he has been having night terror. He would scream and cry (while his eyes are closed) until I hold him or soothe him.

I asked his doctor she said it’s night terror and it happens to some kids. I just feel really bad for him, he doesn’t cry during the day, always happy and smiling, but all of sudden when he sleeps he starts crying during his sleep.
