Spotting, early pregnancy?? (FTM)

Hello, I wasnt spotting all day but had some cramps here and there but very mild. I just went to the bathroom and I wiped and saw a copious amount of blood, it was crimson red, i stuck a toilet paper up and checked, it was only a little bit but when i wiped it was enough to alarm me. I AM taking progesterone pills and I’ve been consistent on my prenatals. Only thing i can think of is that I’m doing too much? I did have severe sharp cramps around 3 in the morning today (1/22) and i went to the bathroom. When should be a good time to go to the ER? It wasn’t heavy, just light and I do have history of chemical pregnancies.
