My period is late

So a little background. I go through I subscription pill company. They send out 3 packs of isoblum every three months on time for your next period too! But recently over the holidays the package was late forcing me to go without birth control for about a month til they could get a new package out. I was sexually active in this time without protection. We used the pull out method. Well 2 weeks after I took a pregnancy test and It came back negative which is a relief. It is now 2 days after my period was supposed to start... I’m starting to freak out that I’m pregnant and maybe the test wasn’t correct while at the same time I know maybe it could just be cause my birth control was all out of whack for that month. Tips or any thoughts on what could be going on??
