Is this normal?

This was my first ultrasound at 7+4. My doc said the gestational sac looked wonderful but it was hard to see the baby, and she blamed their "crappy machine" I see everyone else's sonograms and the baby is very much visible at this stage. Thoughts?

If this was an abdominal scan that’s likely why. Baby is so small and this picture doesn’t look like they have the best quality machine. 
A vaginal scan probably would have been a lot easier to see baby since you’re still very early on

Was this their big ultrasound machine or a roll in cart? Cause your not gonna see crap this early with their roll in carts.
