Too early?

Question

Is it to early to start potty training an almost 13 month old? He will be 13 months on Saturday. This is my first. Opinions appreciated.

Nah way too early in my opinion let them be baby’s start potty training around 2 years my little boy can’t even stand yet never mind use a potty

You could try but I wouldn't have high expectations.   I overheard the doctors taking at my pediatrician's office the other day about being surprised that a 14 month old was already potty trained.   So, I'd say that the majority of kids are not ready yet.

I would consult with your pediatrician. There are actually reasons to wait until much later like 2.5. training the bladder to hold pee that early can lead to bladder and kidney problems.
