House freshener recommendation that's safe around the baby?

I typically just use Febreeze but i don’t want to use anything to hurt my baby. He’s 12 days old and I need something to freshen the house with. It’s too cold to open the windows and we’ve been stuck inside for over a week.

What about a diffuser with natural essential oils?

New research is coming out that all those room sprays might be really bad for you. Honestly, a clean house shouldn't have a "fresh scent". It should smell like nothing. You can do something like squeeze some citrus or mix water and an essential oil in a spray bottle, but I no longer use the plug ins/sprays/carpet powders etc like we used to.

If you can stand the smell of it, vinegar is a good deodorizer. You can set a ceraMic or glass bowl filled with vinegar in the middle of the room u want to deodorize or you can do water & vinegar solution & spray the item you want deodorized.

Open the window for 5 min in one room while you are in a different room. Switch rooms. Opening your windows for just 5 min daily is good for you. Fabreeze is pretty bad for you

You can still use it. Unless your spraying the child or right over the child then it is fine.
