How accurate is an ultrasound determining the baby's actual weight?

My Dr measures my baby to be slightly smaller than what the average weight should be of a baby at 35 weeks.
Has anyone's baby turned out to be smaller or bigger than what was said in the ultrasound?

Not accurate at all! They say it can be off by at least a lb. they said my daughter was 8 11. She was born 4 days later at 7 11.

It can be off by a pound or more (above or below baby’s true weight). In my case, at 38 weeks I was told my son would weigh 7-8lbs, and he came out 9lbs 10oz.

They told me i was gonna have a 10lb baby , he ended up being 7lbs 13oz born a week before I was to have a csection

They told me when I had my son he would be about 10 pounds if I carried him to term I went into labor and had him on my due date and he was born at 7 pounds 14oz

39 weeks with my daughter showed she was 7 1/2lbs. She was born on her due date at 6lbs 8oz. Ultrasounds can be off. Some of my friends have been told they were having 10lb babies and they came out 8lbs

At 40 weeks had an ultrasound they told me 7.5 pounds max. I had her a few days later at 9 pounds 10 ounces. They’re notoriously incorrect especially closer to your due date

Weight estimates are not accurate at all. When my sister was pregnant with my niece they said she was around 7lbs. She was born the next week at 37 weeks weighing a whopping 11lbs 2oz.
