Do you regularly have deep & meaningful conversations with your SO?

I don’t know if it’s because kids take so much of our attention, but I feel such a lack of emotional connection with my SO and it makes me so sad.

So...my hubby & I have been together for almost 15 years & been married for 9 of those. Anything "deep & meaningful" not pertaining to the "here & now" has been talked about. Now, I ask him about his day at work, we discuss the good & the bad & anything that's bugging him & I talk about my days, our 2 kids & anything else that either he A) needs to know or B) is bugging me. Other than that, most days are pretty hum drum. "How was work?" "Ok. Stressful, but not terrible. How was your day with the girls" "About the same. Ok, but stressful. Hahaha." 
Then it's just funny antidotes about his work, the kids, or things we want to do. Not every day needs a deep & meaningful conversation. 🤷‍♀️ He is my soulmate & everything. I'm just saying, some days warrant a deep convo. Others are just days.

I need a never button. It's been 6 years and we now have a 4 mo. How about do we even talk? Between work and baby it's more like hi how was your day? Then im asleep before I hear his answer. Or we argue about something once a week for date night. 🤣
