Any tips for brushing your teeth after wisdom teeth removal?

Do you brush the stitches too? How much toothpaste? I cant even open my mouth fully.

I brushed only my front teeth for a while to help from feeling gross. Definitely don’t wanna touch where the stitches are because that would hurt and could cause problems. Also ask your dentist/oral surgeon for tips too!

Yes, brush what teeth you can. If you can’t open your mouth very far, don’t force it, but try to brush the teeth that you can. 
When I can mine removed, the surgeon included this syringe in my after care instructions. That way, I could use a gentle stream of water to clear any food particles that might have gotten near the stitches. Because no, you don’t brush the stitches.

You should definitely brush your teeth. You can start brushing after 24 hours just make sure you aren’t spitting too hard. Don’t brush the stitches. You just use a normal amount of toothpaste.
