I’ve only ever met Saw-yers. Hence how it’s spelled. It makes me cringe when I hear someone say Soy-yer. I don’t even understand how people get soy-yer from saw-yer. Why not just spell it Soyer then? I don’t get it.

I didn’t know that Sawyer could be pronounced with soy. Interesting, lol. That’s what we’re naming our baby boy, but we’re from Eastern Ky so I’ve never heard anyone say it any differently🤷🏼‍♀️
