So to start my story my husband and I had my Nexplanon taken out in December 2018 and started trying with just the thought when it happens it will happen. When 6 months went by without any luck I started to use Glow to help more. We started having sex around my ovulation day but weren’t doing every other day or anything like that. I tried OPK’s for one cycle, taking them when I was supposed to be in my fertile cycle but never even got a faint line.

Now this may seem strange but my husband wanted an October baby so badly, but just wanted another baby between us just as bad.

I had my period start on 01/03 and like usual it lasted 6 days. This was the month we bought OPK’s and we’re going to baby dance every other day during the fertile window and even more closer to ovulation. I woke up on the 12th (a week before my predicted ovulation) to severe back pain and ovulation pain so I took an OPK and it was immediately positive. So glow moved my fertile week to the day after my period 01/09 until 01/15. So we had sex three days in a row. I started to have symptoms about 6-7dpo. Sore breast and severely painful nipples (that were darker), some nausea, gassy, sensitive smell, and a few others I can’t remember ay the moment. Lol.

So I had a stockpile of dollar store tests and on 9DPO I got what looked like a start of a line. Nothing that anyone else would probably see but I saw SOMETHING. So I sent my husband out to get a three pack of FRER. I took the test as soon as he got home (so 7:30pm) and covered it swearing it would be negative and I would be so upset. But I was wrong. I uncovered it and couldn’t stop looking at the faint line. I’ve taken one everyday, now using FMU and I’m having the lines get darker. My appointment to see my OBGYN on 02/27 at 9:30am and Monday I plan on calling to see if she can send paperwork for bloodwork.

After a year we’re having another (and my last as I have 3 from a previous relationship) baby. He wants a boy. AND we get our October baby. Again i know it’s silly but it feels like an answered prayer in every way possible.

Now to continue to pray for a sticky bean as I do have history of ectopic pregnancies. (Had one before I had my 4 babies).

I have two CVS brand early response tests, and 2 dollar store tests (and my best friend is bringing me another 3 pack of the FRER tests) and I will keep testing to see those darkening lines until I’ve reached my missed period (and until I run out of tests LOL) on 01/28. Pretty sure it’s not going to come now. 🤣🥰😍

I should mention that every time I’ve gotten pregnant it happened in the week after my period so I should have put that into consideration. Also, this was my first time TTC. All my other babies were born while on birth control.
