Positive C section stories?

I’m a FTM and might have a C section due to baby remaining breech at 37 weeks. I’m nervous about it and would love to read some positive C section stories or any advice anyone has! TIA!

My baby was posterior and I was a ftm. He would not flip or engage properly. There is nothing wrong with having a c section to decrease any complications for you or your baby. I had a c section that was medically needed due to my baby becoming distressed and I developed an infection and fever during delivery. It was not bad at all. Healing takes a little longer and it’s important you get help for the first few weeks. I hope you don’t listen to the negative feedback about c sections. It is not the easy way out and it does not make you any less of a mother for delivering that way. All that matters is that you and your baby have a healthy delivery. Trust your ob they know what they are doing. Good luck you will be fine and enjoy every step of the way! :)

I had an emergency csection with my first (after a 14 hour labor) and a planned csection with my second. And my second one was a piece of cake honestly. The recovery really wasn't even bad. Getting up and walking asap afterward really helped ease the soreness. So much easier than having one after laboring all day first! And so much less mentally draining!

I’ve had three. My first wasn’t great but I had complications due to preeclampsia and needed an emergency c-section after 15 hours of labor. My other 2 c-sections were a breeze. Scheduled c-sections are much easier on mama and baby. No complications with my other two and my recovery was fairly quick. I was able to nurse my babies within 30-40 minutes after surgery while in the recovery room. I won’t sugar coat this... it is painful and tough the first few days but so worth it in the end. I had a c- sections with a breech baby and I healed great... I was up and walking the week after ... my son was health and happy and so was I that I didn’t jeopardize mine or my child’s health 
.... I struggled a ton due to those few ppl that tell me that I didn’t give birth cause I had to have an emergency c section.
It’s unfortunate that woman must tear each other down to make themselves feel good.

Honestly csection was my biggest fear. I had no birth plan except I didn’t want a csection. Well, what did I end up with? Csection! It was really nowhere near as bad as I had envisioned. It wasn’t what I wanted but it was fine and it meant i have a beautiful happy healthy baby girl. that was most important to me. 
My recovery was uncomplicated. I barely even needed the narcotic pain meds, I think I took once or twice since hospital discharge? Otherwise just did Motrin. Was back to normal workouts at 8 weeks postpartum. Baby girl is 10 months now and I’m already 14 weeks with #2 planning for vbac

I'd been told for years that I'd have to have a C-section because of a previous pelvic fracture.  That turned out not to be true, but I felt prepared either way anyhow.   Well, Little Bit's head was just too big so the doc said I'd need a C-section.  Immediately all preparation I felt went out the window and I vomited three times.  
It wasn't bad.   At.   All.   I had her at 1322 and I was up and walking by 2000, with the help of some pain killers, of course.   I wanted that catheter OUT and I wanted to be able to stand up after having laid down for 48 hours.  
My parents came to visit again the following day and my mom nearly fell out of her chair when she saw me get up.  I'm affectionately known as a wimp to my family, and she, my tough as nails couldn't get out of bed for three days after having a C-section with me.   (But that was thirty years ago and things are way different.). 
I had NO complications.  I felt a little tender after I got home, but I probably could have avoided that if I took the meds they gave me.   I took them in the hospital but once I got home, I'd take Tylenol maybe twice a day.   
Sometimes for the first two or three weeks, when I stood up I'd get a sharp pain in the incision.  Nothing abnormal but pretty painful.   Next baby, I will put the baby down before I stand up, because once I had to yell for my husband to take her because I was afraid I'd drop her.  And that was the worst of it.  
I plan to have another one.   I know what this is like and I hear stories about vaginal deliveries and think of how tough those women are.   God gives you what you can handle and He knew this would be easy for me.   😂

I’ve had 2 and they were great. Recovery was super easy for me. The moment they told me I could get up, I did & started walking as much as I could. When I got out of bed, I spent some time on the chair and then back to the bed towards the night. I went home and kept myself up more then just sitting around. I was feeling back to normal with 2 weeks both times. My first was emergency but went great.
Definitely walk as much as you can. Slow.

🙋🏽‍♀️! I had an experience with my son being in the breech position at 36 weeks and I had to have an emergency C section to have him out of my womb. 
My experience with the C section, it was painful but the healing went really smooth. 
I had a lot of support from my family’s bd my fiancé during the healing. You will be ok, I promise. 
Importantly, don’t overwork, take it easy on yourself & wear comfy and loose clothing.

You can vaginally deliver a breech baby and any dr that tells you that you can’t doesn’t have your best interest. Breech babies are delivered ALL the time. Dr’s are so quick to jump to csections and inductions, it’s ridiculous.
