Expecting a Girl! 🙏🏻 planning on earrings?!

I dont know if you should bring the earrings to the hospital or just wait until she is bigger? All this is new for me.
What you did if you already have a girl or if you are expecting what would you do?!🤔🤗thank you!

Am I the only one not planning on piercing them? Sure if she asks when she is older but it doesn't even cross my mind as something to do.

We decided to wait until she is old enough to decide for herself. I got mine done really young and my ears grew and now the holes are in weird places and I can’t wear certain earrings. Plus they get caught on things when they are so little.

I have 2 daughters and expecting my third daughter here they don’t doit until 3 months until they have their shots !!

I don’t think it can be done until they’re vaccinated. I plan on doing my daughters as soon as she’s vaccinated. It’s better for them in the long run. They’re less likely to play with them, feel pain, or develop allergies early on. If she chooses not to wear them later on then that’s her decision then.

We wanted to wait until our daughter could ask us for it and make a special fun day out of it. She is turning 6 in May and we are planning on doing it then. She is so excited and I am so glad we waited until she asked for it.

We’re getting here done. I got mine done when I was 14, and I wished I had already had them my entire life.
My baby cousin (now 5) loves her pierced ears. She things she so cool with them, and she’s had them since birth.
We’re going to pierce baby’s when we’re allowed to.

Hi, no we will wait until year 1 in school (7 years old for country I’m in) and let her decide. Really do not like seeing earrings on small babies, I think it’s not safe

Yea I dont think hospital will pierce newborns ears. Generally you want to wait until the tdap shots until you do that. We got my daughters done at 9 months and it was great because she didnt care about them or touch them so they were able to completely heal without her pulling them out

My nieces were done at 3-4 months. 
We’d probably do the same. When they’re that young they don’t have dirty hands all of them, playing with them all the time.

I'm having a boy but just wanted to say I wish my mom had mine done as a baby. I got them when I was older and struggled to care for them properly and then they grew over. I tried to have them redone as a teen but have a nickle allergy so could only wear surgical steel and that just doesn't work when you want to wear different styles.
