Did progesterone delay your period?

Question

I’m a day late. Forcing myself to wait until test day (1/29) but wondering if the progesterone could cause this delay.

For reference I’m on my first <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> and have been taking progesterone since 2DPIUI

I stopped taking mine last week on Monday... so today it’s been 6 days since I’ve stopped and still no period. This is also my first time taking prometrium. I was taking it twice a day. So far I’ve been getting BFN 😔. I had 2 other IUIs without prometrium and my period would come right on time at the end of my TWW.

It can. Your period starts after a drastic fall in progesterone levels when you do not get pregnant.  That is why they give it to boost levels in early pregnancy and at times keep you from miscarrying.

Progesterone always held mine at bay....some times for a couple of days after I stopped it.

I didnt get my period until 3 days after stopping progesterone. Which was about 5 days later than I would have gotten my period normally
