Flu while pregnant!?

Anyone else have the flu!? Going to get diagnosed first thing in the morning. I heard Xofluza works way better than Tamiflu but no study’s on if it’s okay during pregnancy! Anyone pregnant been prescribed this yet??

Just got diagnosed with Influenza B on friday and got put on Tamiflu. It gives me horrible nausea and stomach cramps for hours after taking it, even with food.

Just diagnosed today with the flu, was prescribed tamiflu but I’m going to call my OB first thing in the morning to make sure it’s safe to take.

I had influenza B at 34/35 weeks and the Tamiflu gave my diarrhea but it helped other than that. The flu sucks.

Influenza B at 6 weeks. Dr and pharmacist both okayed tamiflu. Made me nauseous, and so did being 6 weeks so that was neat.

I had the a severe flu when I was 8 months pregnant I didn’t take any oral medication , lots of bed rest water and my husband rubbed Vick’s Vapour rub on me 3 times a day cranked up the heater and hot boxed me until I sweated out the flu 🤧

I had it at 24weeks over thanksgiving. I do not do Tamiflu and all it does is shorten the symptoms of it. Yes I’m aware it’s advised, I’m a nurse but no thanks. I’m 32 weeks now and all is well.

Just FYI- if you’ve had symptoms longer than 48 hours, Tamiflu and other meds like it won’t do anything.

Don’t take anything except Tylenol for the flu!!! LOTS of SLEEP and WATER! I cannot stress enough how bad tamiflu is for you and how unnecessary it is. It’s not even a cure, its only supposed to suppress symptoms. DONT TAKE ANYTHING
