Holding bottle??

Question

Is your March baby holding their own bottle? My son does fine with sippy cups and I feel like he’s pretty advance in so many things... but holding a bottle? Nope. He doesn’t even try; completely uninterested.

My girl is walking, feeding herself finger foods, uses the sippy cup like a champ, and even tries to hold her own spoon.... but she will NOT hold her own bottle. She did for a little while when she was around 3 months old, but I guess she decided why do it when someone else will do it for you. She will literally put her arms behind her head and recline like she just got done working an 8 hour shift while I feed her the bottle. She has me trained. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

That’s like the only time he is ever still and let’s me hold him these days so I’ve never even tried to get him to hold his own lol. I love feeding him❤️

Mine is the same! He rolled at 3 months and crawled at 6 months and is so close to walking but will not even attempt to hold the bottle. I try to make him practice, but he’ll watch it fall on the floor and if I don’t give it back to him, he just won’t eat 😩

He will when I tell him to during morning diaper changes. Other times he’ll hold it his own and stop when he’s tired of doing so.

My daughter will hold her bottle but not for very long. Maybe like an oz of the bottle. But she didn't start taking bottles until she was 8 months because she hated them and preferred boob. 
She holds her sippy good though!

Try bottles with little handles that helped my baby a lot.

My boy doesn't but I haven't really given him opportunity to, we're so close to having to get ride of them I don't see why I should be encouraging him to do it himself just to take it away 🤷‍♀️

My daughter started holding hers at 3 months. But than she realize we feed her anyways so she stopped. She holds her sippy cup, but when I try to give her the bottle she would rather not eat. Its like they know your gonna feed them anyways. 🤦🏻‍♀️
