Shoes?

My baby isn’t yet walking (just turned 1) so we got her some cruising shoes for when we go out so she can get used to shoes and just non stop cries when they are on??
Anyone else?😬 or what can I do to help her be relaxed 😩

Babe should learn to walk without shoes first. My baby just turned one on Jan 24th. It’s okay that your child isn’t walking yet. They just need to be walking by their 18 month checkup.

I would definitely try some different shoes and see if they bother her.

My daughter is walking but will not wear shoes. If I put them on her she won’t even stand never mind walk! If she’s just sitting in the stroller she will keep them on for the most part.

My baby is the same way, except she is walking. I don’t mind her being barefoot around the house because it’s better for her feet to not have shoes on, but when we are out in public I feel like she needs to have something on or people will judge me for not putting shoes on her. I don’t let her walk around in public bc she’s still unsteady at times with walking, but I few like she should at least have something on her feet, but she won’t let me. It’s a fight to get shoes or socks on and the few times I do manage to get them on, she immediately takes everything off!

They might be too tight at the top of her feet. We like to use a soft soled leather slipper for the first bit, they're better for learning to walk than a proper shoe anyways and they're elastic and stretch enough to be comfortable. We like Robeez and minimoc brand.
