Implantation bleeding or Period???

I missed a few days of my birth control pills because i forgot and had unprotected sex and now just yesterday I was spotting a light pinkish somewhat orange color and now today its still very light but its like a brown color could I be pregnant? I don't know why it would be my period I don't start for another week.....
