What is the best baby registry to get and what's the right time to get it?

I am 12 weeks 6 days pregnant.  I have started thinking about making up my mind about a baby registry. Any suggestions.

I liked Babylist bc you can use all stores at once and youre not limited to what store you use. So on that one registry you can use amazon and target and Walmart and literally any website you want something from and it’s all in once spot instead of 20 different registries

I did target and amazon. I have some family who don’t do online shopping so I did target for them. 
You can start researching the things you want now and start your registry whenever you want

Amazon made everything so easy. We did put a few things on a registry at Target but I had a terrible experience with them.

i like target. start now. go through every single baby catagory, keep receipts if u buy any diapers and wipes as target will exchange them for a new brand and size if it doesn’t work for baby(tape receipt to box to make sure u don’t lose it) make sure it’s what you want do research on products. because whatever you don’t get gifted you can buy and it’s all already on one list which is nice
