Hello!

I have a 2 year old and a 1 month old. We have a split level home with three bedrooms upstairs all together. Currently we have the baby's bassinet in the downstairs office with a queen bed. My husband and I have been taking turns sleeping with her while the other person goes to our bedroom to get some undisturbed sleep. My toddler can hear the baby crying just through the house and also through a vent. She's a good sleeper and will settle on her own but I feel bad. Now that the baby is sleeping in longer stretches I'm hoping to move her upstairs so my husband and I can sleep in the same bed again. But I know that will wake up the toddler even more. Does anyone have experience with this, and what did you do? Will the toddler adjust, or should I keep them away from each other until the baby is sleeping through the night?
