This is my second pregnancy, today I had my last midwife appointment and baby was only 4/5 engaged, same at 34 weeks. I really thought labor was near as the past few nights I have had labor signs. I am due on the 9th but I have a scheduled C-section booked in for the 6th so not long to go really. I obviously want him to stay put till then but I'm kind of disheartened that I am probably awhile off for labor. Daughter was born at 40+6 so I wasn't expecting my baby boy to be earlier. Has anyone gone into spontaneous labor without baby being engaged? I have read that second pregnancy babies don't engage till labor so I don't know.
