IVF at age 42

AMH is .85 my doctor said I would have a 5% chance of conceiving using my own eggs and 65% chance if I used a donor egg. I had a baby at age 39, I’m experiencing secondary infertility. Has anyone had any luck with these low odds in doing IVF at age 42 and getting pregnant using own eggs? Also my husband has varicocele so sometimes his sperm count can be high and sometimes it can be low. If so, does being healthy and taking Vitamins help the quality of the egg before doing IVF? Trying to figure out if I should try it now or wait a couple of cycles to get to my healthiest.
